I was looking through the list of documentaries I watched last year and just had to post about this one. I'm not exactly sure when I started exhibiting such a preference for documentaries over all other films. Perhaps it was a natural development from International Cinema days at the Y. But I watched a lot of documentaries last year. Which L, C, and K were kind enough to join or tolerate at different times.
Being Elmo might be one of my favorite movies ever. It really is amazing. I was not prepared for how amazing it would be, I expected to thoroughly enjoy it, but not to be totally blown away and touched by the story. If you ever have a chance to watch it - do.
