We did have a lovely 4th of July BBQ. A, K & A, and I went to watch the fireworks at CalExpo. I'm always in such awe of fireworks, everything goes still for a moment. This year was no exception.
Great, right?
One feels festive, patriotic, inspired...then you get up to walk back to the car and happen to survey the lawn everyone has been sitting on. Seriously people? Trash everywhere. Faith in humanity was maintained for a few seconds. Oh well. Bet they'd get a lot of revenue giving out litter citations...could have made for an even better show next year.
